Coach Scott Benitz
This is Scott's 17th year of coaching the Raiders. After co-coaching the past 5 seasons, this will be his first year as teh head coach. Before coming to LHS, Scott taught at Port Edwards High School and was head wrestling coach for 4 years. He also spent one year coaching at East Junior High before joining the LHS coaching staff. Scott graduated from LHS in 1982 and UW-Stout with a degree in Technical Education in 1986. He now teaches Technical Education at LHS. Scott and his wife, Kathy, live in Wisconsin Rapids with their two sons Zak (14) and Brock (10).
Scott was honored in 1998 and 2002 as the WWCA Assistant Coach of the Year. In 2005 he was chosen as the State Coach of the Year and national High School Federation Region national Coach of the Year.
